In December 2023, SecurityPal launched the Assurance Profile, a trust center and single-page profile that confidently communicates the strength of your security and GRC, deflecting unnecessary queries and prioritizing essential security questionnaires.

Since its initial launch, we’ve introduced new features and improvements based on the valuable feedback of our customers.

Assurance Profile API

The Assurance Profile API lets you generate private data rooms for secure document sharing, enhancing the security and management of sensitive documents. For example, you can create a private data room from any of your project management applications with a single click of a button. You can also use the API for secure document sharing of sensitive data.

Analytics feature

With our new analytics feature, Assurance Profile users can get an overview of metrics, like page visits, document downloads, and information requests. Monitoring these stats can help you spot trends and make informed decisions when updating your Assurance Profile.

Key capabilities include:

• New metrics on visits, downloads, and requests for Assurance Profile private documents
• Filter by date and export per-day stats by CSV
• Notifications for every document download and private data room link opened

Other feature enhancements

In addition to new features, we’ve added key improvements to the Assurance Profile based on customer feedback and user experience:

• CSS selectors – We’ve now included tools to customize your Assurance Profile according to your company’s branding and design guidelines. You will be able to modify colors, adjust font and font sizes, and add additional styles to match your preferences.
• Documents section – We’ve added a documents section into a more visual layout with all the available security documents. It’s now easier to browse documents and request access.
• Custom domains  – Until now, all Assurance Profiles were hosted under the same domain (company-domain.securitypal.com). We’re introducing custom domains, allowing users to incorporate their company domain into Assurance Profile URLs, with assurance as the sub-domain (assurance.company-domain.com).
• Analytics – Users can get an overview of metrics, like page visits, document downloads, and information requests. Monitoring these stats can help you spot trends and make informed decisions when updating your Assurance Profile.
• Assurance Profile API – This API lets you generate private data rooms for secure document sharing, enhancing the security and management of sensitive documents.
• Subscriptions – Share any updates to your security posture and related announcements directly via your Assurance Profile. Customers can now subscribe to be notified of these updates as they are deployed, ensuring they are informed about the latest changes and improvements.

In line with our mission to empower our customers by streamlining security review and security questionnaire workflows, we are continuing to incorporate customer feedback into new iterations of the Assurance Profile to make it as effective and easy to use as possible.
